When a death occurs, your primary responsibility is to yourself and the ones you love. There are a number of things that require attention simultaneously. Call on us. Regardless of the day or hour, we are always prepared to respond to your needs quickly and competently. Our main function is to assist you with the necessary details of the funeral process. Among the services we provide are:

  • Arranging funeral plans.
  • Assisting you in notifying friends and relatives.
  • Securing necessary permits and death certificates.
  • Care and custody of the body.
  • Coordinating all details with the clergy.
  • Arranging the music you have selected.
  • Placing obituary and funeral notices in newspapers and online.
  • Assisting in arranging for burial or cremation.
  • Assisting in arrangements for cemetery space, grave opening and closing, flowers, and monuments.
  • Arranging transportation for you and the members of your family prior to, during, and after the funeral.
  • Notifying any fraternal or other organizations.
  • Supervision of the funeral or memorial service.
  • Notifying your attorney if you are in need of legal assistance.
  • Assistance in securing veterans’ burial allowances to which you may be entitled.
  • Assistance in filing a claim for benefits under the U.S. Social Security Act, if applicable.
  • Help in completing insurance claim forms.
  • Contacting friends to serve as casket bearers.
  • All necessary arrangements for transportation, funeral service, and burial if the deceased is to be sent to a distant location.
  • Follow-up after the funeral.  Practical assistance with unforeseen details and help in making adjustments.

Traditional Service at Funeral Home or Other Location

This service includes visitation either same day of or day prior to funeral services at the funeral home or another location with a viewing or the body present. Disposition can include burial, entombment or cremation. Included are:

  • Arrangements conference with family, obtaining information and filing necessary legal documents, arrangements with clergy and other parties involved with the service, arrangements with cemetery or other place of disposition, placing obituary notices. Also included are charges related to the daily operation of the business such as insurance, maintenance, utility and other related staff expenses.
  • Embalming and other preparation and care of the deceased
  • Use of facilities and staff for visitation and funeral service at the funeral home or use of staff and equipment when visitation and funeral are at another location.
  • Committal service
  • Automotive equipment for removal from place of death, transportation to cemetery/mausoleum and other vehicles necessary for service and daily operations. (pallbearer or family vehicles available at an additional charge)

Caskets – 698.00 to 12,250.00

Outer Burial Receptacles – 1,225.00 to 13,300.00

Register book, memorial folders/prayer cards and other printed materials – 125.00 to 250.00

Items not included in the above services are, but are not limited to, clergy stipend, special music, cemetery/mausoleum expense, coroner permit, newspaper notices, certified copies of the death certificate and flowers.

Immediate Burial or Entombment

No funeral service held
Graveside or Mausoleum service

These services are selected when a family does not wish the body to be present at the service or visitation. Private family viewing may be arranged when possible. If embalming may be required by the cemetery/mausoleum or requested by the family.

Included but not limited to are:

  • Arrangements conference with family, obtaining information and filing necessary legal documents, arrangements with clergy and other parties involved with the service, arrangements with cemetery or other place of disposition, placing obituary notices. Also included are charges related to the daily operation of the business such as insurance, maintenance, utility and other related staff expenses.
  • Care and preparation of an unembalmed body as required by Wisconsin law and sheltering of remains.
  • Committal/graveside/mausoleum service if selected.
  • Automotive equipment for removal from place of death, transportation to cemetery/mausoleum and other vehicles necessary for service and daily operations. (pallbearer or family vehicles available at an additional charge)

Direct Cremation

No Service

These services are selected when a family chooses cremation as final disposition and does not wish to have a viewing or services planned by the funeral home staff. Private family viewing may be arranged before cremation when possible. If embalming is required when the body is present for viewing, or if embalming is requested by the family, there may be an additional charge.

Services included but not limited to are:

  • Arrangement conference with family, obtaining information and filing necessary legal documents, arrangements with crematory/cemetery/mausoleum or other place of disposition, placing obituary notices. Also included are charges related to the daily operation of the business such as insurance, maintenance, utility and other related staff expenses.
  • Care and preparation of an unembalmed body as required by Wisconsin law and sheltering of remains.
  • Automotive equipment for removal from place of death, transportation to crematory and other vehicles necessary for securing documents and daily operations.
  • Cremation fee.

Urns – 35.00 to 1,190.00

Urn vaults – 455.00 to 1,065.00

Register book, memorial folders/prayer cards and other printed materials – 125.00 to 250.00

Items not included in the above services are, but are not limited to, alternative container, coroner permit, newspaper notices, certified copies of the death certificate.
